Close Encounter made their first appearance in 2006 with the name “Brief Encounter”, but liked what they heard so they changed their name to better describe their close-harmony sound. Close Encounter were named the 2010 Div 3 (Alberta) Quartet Champions and became the Senior Quartet Champions for Div 3 (Alberta) in 2019. They currently sing as guests on our Stampede City Chorus Shows.
